You build, we coach
You operate Lovable and make the changes. We help frame the need, formulate requests, understand the answers and decide on the next step.

You can build in Lovable yourself with technical coaching, or entrust us with delivery. In the first case, you keep the controls. In the second, KERN-IT takes charge of development.
// two ways to work together
During coaching, you build and we guide you. For delivery, our team takes charge of development.
You operate Lovable and make the changes. We help frame the need, formulate requests, understand the answers and decide on the next step.
You give us the brief. We design, build, connect and deliver the application, using Lovable wherever it provides a genuine advantage.
Using Lovable well is not only about writing better prompts. It requires someone who can break down the product, decide where data lives, organise access rights, connect services and recognise when direct work in the code is more effective.
KERN-IT combines both skill sets. We use Lovable as a delivery tool and understand the stack it produces: React, TypeScript, Supabase, APIs, authentication, tests and deployment. We know where the product needs to go, so we know how to steer the tool.
Coaching is a consulting engagement. We work with you on the need, the screens and Lovable's answers. You remain in your account and make the changes yourself. We do not take control of the application, extract the code or start a migration as part of coaching.
A session may clarify a feature, break down the next stages, prepare an important prompt, make sense of a Lovable proposal or identify a risk before more instructions are added. You leave with decisions and a course of action you can apply directly.
For a development engagement, we can take charge before, during or after the first version:
The boundary remains clear: during coaching, you build. During delivery, we develop a feature, a technical stage or the entire product according to the agreed scope.
An application does not stop at its interface. It relies on a database, user accounts, access rules, external services and infrastructure. When a requirement goes beyond the standard path, our team can work directly in the repository instead of adding workarounds.
This combined expertise allows us to choose without dogma: stay in Lovable when that is rational, complement it with custom development, or move a component when doing so genuinely improves security, cost or maintainability.
If the application has already been started, we do not assume that it needs to be rebuilt or extracted. We first understand the need, the product's condition and its next milestone. When important questions remain open, the Scan documents security, ownership, maintainability and ability to scale.
The outcome may be continued work in Lovable, a targeted Production Upgrade or a partial migration. The objective is to choose the most useful trajectory, not to move the project for its own sake.
The GitHub connection provides a continuously updated copy of the code. It can be used in a standard editor or deployed elsewhere. The repository should belong to an account or organisation you control, with ownership and access clearly documented.
Code is only part of the application. Portability also covers the database, authentication, files, server functions, secrets, domains and production configuration.
With a separate Supabase project, database and authentication live in a Supabase account. You need to know who owns that account and who controls backups, access rules and billing.
With Lovable Cloud, the backend is managed from Lovable. Official documentation provides a migration path to managed Supabase or other infrastructure, but schema, data, files, secrets and authentication providers follow different paths.
Staying on Lovable can be entirely rational. The decision should be explainable, its limits understood and a handover path documented. The basics checklist helps protect account ownership while you are still building.

Yes. This is a consulting and coaching engagement: you keep control in Lovable and make the changes. We help frame the need, prepare requests, understand the available choices and organise what comes next. No code access or extraction is required to start.
Yes. KERN-IT can handle product framing, UX, the Lovable build, backend, integrations, testing and deployment. We use Lovable where it genuinely speeds up the project and conventional development where the product requires it.
Good steering requires an understanding of what Lovable generates. Our team can decide what to ask the tool, inspect the result in the code and take direct control of React, Supabase, APIs, authentication or infrastructure.
Yes. A first conversation establishes where the project stands. If its condition needs to be measured before work continues, the Scan assesses security, ownership, maintainability and ability to evolve. We can then fix it, continue in Lovable or move selected components.
Yes. KERN-IT is based on Rue Belliard in Brussels and supports projects throughout Belgium, in French or English. Work can take place on site when useful or remotely.
